Ada's Violin

A Red Clover book that shares the joy of music with the world!

The story of the recycled orchestra of Paraguay.

In honor of this story, we asked several of our own UMS friends that play instruments to share their music with us.

This book is so special that it took us two library times to explore it! We also had a chance to try a few instruments made from recyclables.

The music voyage we have been on was all started with a grandmother that wanted her granddaughters to learn to play music. In honor of Grandmother Mirian, we listened to songs from her favorite groups as we were working.

Penguin Problems!

What do I do? I have so many problems! Walruses do not understand penguin problems.

Welcome to the world of a young penguin that is having a rough day. He has shared many problems. Along comes a wise walrus which might add some perspective to the penguin's world.

After reading our story, the students used a spinner app to help solve a penguin problem.
We have many amazing problem solvers!

They All Saw a Cat

Another Red Clover title explored!

This story is about how many different animals see the cat in different ways.

If we think of perspectives, how do you think the cat sees you?
